Maslow Secures Partnership With Licensed Bank

Maslow is pleased to announce it has secured a partnership agreement with a fully licensed Australian bank.

This partnership positions the company to respond to and expand on a fundamental shift in customer and societal expectations that Up Bank identified and evidenced with its rapid acquisition of 800,000 customers, 85% of whom are millennials and gen-z’s.

Maslow plans to build on Up’s success by not just building Maslow for its customers needs, but by building it 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢 and for the society Maslow believes each person has an equal right to share and play an important role in.

Every customer of Maslow will be entitled to ownership the moment they join, and we plan to do a near full equity transfer to our customers over time - a gift from Maslow’s shareholders to the world (which they’re contractually bound to).

Kane Jackson, Maslow’s co-founder and CEO said: “Today marks an important step on our long but determined mission to build a new finance industry for humanity. At the heart of Maslow is a belief that a small group of shareholders shouldn’t be the main beneficiaries of an industry all people rely on to live a healthy, happy and prosperous life.”

Mina Calvert, Maslow’s CTO and co-founder said: “this is a badge of legitimacy that solidifies what is commonly aspirational for fintechs at this stage. We’ve received incredible support for our mission and this is a vote of confidence in our ability to execute on it. The next step is turning technology into the mechanism to deliver real tangible value. Value that differentiates us from everyone else and answers the call for a more equitable society.”

Jackson said, “We believe the time is right to fundamentally change this industry and stop cycling through empty marketing strategies that benefit companies at the expense of customers”.

Maslow is currently conducting a Crowd Sourced Funding Campaign via Birchal, which can be viewed here.
